Lindsey and Forrest have two kids, Gus & Lucy, who started working in the office with me her birth. Forrest has a passion for wildlife and has always dreamed of raising buffalo on the agricultural side of the property. One day in 2018, with little planning, he came home with nine Buffalo calves! After raising the calves for 18 months, it was time to consider which aspect of the buffalo business they should focus on.

"We are a down-to-earth family that operates straightforward businesses. We enjoy the daily routine of tending to the animals and completing our chores. The Bison are a spectacle to behold and an honor to be around. We truly enjoy allowing the kids to experience their independence and have a personal investment in the farm & meat business.

We find certain challenges to be both intriguing and engaging. Our relationships with the people we've met along this journey are invaluable, and there is no other place we would rather be. We were determined to continue these meaningful connections and felt a natural inclination to establish a retail buffalo meat business right on the Hester property. We value our customers and are eager to continue to connect with them."
