At Alpenglow Acres, we believe good food starts with responsible farming.
Less than 5% of pork in the U.S. is pasture-raised – and we’re proud to be part of that small
group. Our pigs are raised on open pasture, where they roam freely and forage naturally.
They’re never given added hormones or antibiotics and are fed a diet of non-GMO,
fermented barley and wheat – making their meat richly flavorful and easier for them to
digest.
Alpenglow Acres is a farrow-to-finish farm, meaning their pigs are born and raised here,
ensuring low stress and healthy lives from start to finish. They are completely off-grid and
powered by the sun, committed to using regenerative practices that care for the land as
much as the animals.
Owners Robert and Rebecca Demo met while earning their Agriculture degrees at
Colorado State University. Together, they’ve built a farm that reflects their values:
sustainability, stewardship, and the belief that food raised with integrity just tastes better.
